Wheatland – 150 MW

The 150 MW Wheatland Wind Project is being developed on approximately 28,000 acres of private land located in Central Alberta 30 km southeast of the Town of Drumheller. Located on a high plateau of cultivated land and grazing land, the project has an excellent wind resource based on data collected since November 2007. The Wheatland Wind Project is adjacent to Suncor’s 88 MW Wintering Hills Wind Project.
