Overview of Projects

Greengate is focused on developing quality wind energy projects across Alberta with contracted sources of revenue and available transmission capacity. Greengate is currently developing eight wind energy projects across Alberta totaling 1,450 MW on approximately 165,000 acres of private land.

The 300 MW Blackspring Ridge I Wind Project is construction-ready and is expected to be Canada’s largest operating wind energy project upon completion in 2013.
